The perfect embodiment of a Cru Bourgeois, Château Lestage Simon, located next to the village of Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, next to the wellknownvineyard of Saint-Estèphe, benefits from an outstanding terroir. The terroir is very diversified, some vines are planted on sandy soils along the riverbank, others on limestone and clay-limestone soils further inland. The Château produces a supple Haut-Médoc, whose structure, richness and balance provide an excellent ageing potential. Since the 2010 vintage and in order to optimize the potential of this terroir, Château Lestage Simon has relied on the expert advice of Michel Rolland and his team. A real partnership has been forged between the Château and Michel’s team, which intervenes at the key stages of the whole cycle.
